I watched CNN and saw Rush Limbaugh speak at the CPAC
(Conservative Political Action Conference)
Maybe I missed it, but I didn't hear any mention of the words "labor," "worker" or "employee."
That explains why he talked about how New York has only forty thousand of it's richest citizens paying taxes on sixty percent of the city's budget, for a population of eight million.
The focus of Rush Limbaugh's speech was entirely on the top tier. The business owners.
I learned what one of the core values of conservatism is:
He DID mention "good old entrepreneurial hard work."
Everybody needs to be an entrepreneur! Schools need to teach the values of entrepreneurship! You need to be totally responsible for yourself and not depend on anyone else, that would be welfare.
Workers are a sunk cost. Businesses don't want to pay wages, payroll taxes, unemployment insurance, or health insurance, they don't want workers. Well, they still want workers, they just don't want to pay them anything.
It looks like Laborers are not an interest of the Republicans or Conservatives. This is why they lost.

Hey business owners.
Having a hard time in today's economy?
Are you going out of business?
Not getting nearly as many customers as before?
Baffled by the sudden surge in the number of foreclosures and bankruptcies?
Wondering why people just don't seem to have the money to spend on your products anymore?
What happened to their money?
I'll let you in on a little secret. Nobody is mentioning this fact anywhere on the news media, and no politician will dare touch this topic. So far I have not heard President Obama mention this either, so I'm going to go out on a limb and break it to you as gently as possible.
Customers are also employees.
Yes, their money doesn't magically appear, they have to be paid by people like you.
Since people like you are not paying them, they can't buy your products.
So, what are you going to do about it? Cut costs?
Dell Computers moved a plant to Eastern Europe for cheaper labor, would any of their employees there be able to afford a Dell PC?
How long before nobody can afford them and decide to finally build their own PC by going to http://www.newegg.com
So ask your fellow entrepreneurs to start paying better wages so all of you can stay in business.
Geeeezzz! WTF!
