1. Use of the word “Retarded”
The use of the word “retarded” long ago meant “not fully developed” and today serves no useful purpose in science as it is too general a statement. The word is so imprecise that its only redeeming value is the rapid discredit of those who use it.

In other words, anyone who uses the word “retarded” in any capacity has symptoms of a generally disreputable lexicon. Such persons more frequently use expletives to fill voids that would otherwise contain more accurate and acceptable messages.
